Just a few mods we've either done or will do.
Fitted another agm 130 ah battery .
A 1500 w inverter and have 2 110w solar panels to fit .
Will be making up a new bumper but for now fitted the 2 150 mm tubes to the factory one .

Pics prob tomorrow after I get home from work .

I ran the same in my expanda.
I had an external PowerPoint from the inverter and ran a lead to the vans 240v inlet that way everything , power point etc
Worked .
I don't run micro, ac ,toaster , but everything was just like being on mains .
We camped on the Murray for 4days every melb cup and never ran out of power.
It just how I like to run my inverter all power points work etc.

Great looking bit of kit there @mfexpanda even the weather looks good (photo shop?) have you had a chance to check out the sat TV and if so how does it perform? And whats the big door at the rear, is that the naughty boy's corner?
cheers Dave

Yep it's sunny down here so pulled out the van and checked out the sat dish .
It's a great bit of gear , no more stuffing around with tripods and dishes.
Just push the go button and away it goes !
The big door is a external storage locker it's one of the features on this model that I liked .

very cool @mfexpanda looks like some NASA base station.. Maybe its the new shuttle design :)
When are you adding the new van to your signature? or you still miss the 16.49..
Yes need to change the signature and yes I do miss the 16 expanda but this one has everything so hopefully I
Will enjoy it as much as the other .

Thats a great looking unit, and quite a leap from the 16. Extended drawer bar?? It obviously has coil suspension so you've answered one of my concerns; I was curious what the annex would like on our new OB. I was a little worried about the overall height, but yours looks quiet balanced. We also recently sold our 2009 16.49. We used it a lot, had soon great memories with it and like you, we miss it. I hope the new one becomes as much a part of us as the other one was.

Those Silverline are a nice looking rig @mfexpanda There appears to be allot of room on the A frame as well maybe for a after thought
Are you finding that you have a lot of room now compared to the old 16?

A frame are suppose to be 275mm longer than the sterling was so I didn't go ext draw bar but maybe I should have.
There is a lot more room but it has the external locker and bigger overhead cabinets and room under the bed
