Can you please come and work on the pathfinder???

Barry already has to much bling and the pathfinder is bare!!!!

Seriously Barry should be very happy as it seems Barry is getting all the attention recently :)

Haha! Can do mate, will probably be through your way maybe June or July. I'm flexible in my payment options........I accept cash, beer or single malt!

Yes, Barry is a spoilt boy, but he may start to feel a bit neglected once Sharon (the Sterling) arrives!

Cheers

Hi Shiraz

My personal preference for oils is Valvoline, but if you stick with any of the major name brands such as Castrol, Shell etc you should be pretty right.
According to Valvoline lube guide, they recommend 5W-40 Synpower, which is a fully synthetic oil.

So Millsy, where do we book our cars and vans in for all our auto elec work?

Geoff

Sorry Geoff, but as of today I'm officially out of the auto-elec game! Usually I would offer my services on a cash basis but within a couple of months we will be a long way from Safety Beach! But I'm more than happy to help out with any tips/advice on here.

Cheers
Shane

Pics of some accessories and wiring, in no particular order. Still have to mount the second battery in the tub as well as wire the rear work/reverse LEDs.

Bullbar with UHF antenna, HID converted Narva 225s, Narva LED light bar, and LED parker/indicators

Narva Fuse box mounted under bonnet

Wiring for the overhead switches run down the A pillar

Rear LED work/reverse lamps, switched on by reverse or over ride switch

Twin Anderson plugs, one from main vehicle battery, the other from the auxillary battery.

Redarc isolator (mounted underneath Narva fuse box) This controls the 12v supply to the van for fridge and breakaway unit and also to one of the Anderson Plugs

UHF and Brake Controller, yet to work out the best mounting place for the handset yet, it currently resides beside the brake controller in a stubbie holder!

UHF control box and underdash sockets ignition switched for phone and GPS chargers.

Relays, fuse box and midi fuse holders. Wiring still needs a lil bit of tidy up, will do when all is finished. The unused midi fuse holder is for the supply to the Ctek DC-DC charger to be mounted in the tub. Wiring is run, just have to mount battery, Ctek and rear fuse box.

Millsy, can I ask what type of camera you have fitted and where from. I am currently trying to fit one but it is around 30mm diam and 40mm long. I would like to fit one roughly where your's is but this one is too big.

Love your work.

G'day Millsy I have a couple of questions if thats ok mate ;)

1. Where did you tap into the high beam wiring for your driving lights to be switched off with the high beam? At the headlights or under the dash via the headlight switch?

2. For the reverse camera is the power just supplied via the factory reverse wiring at the rear? Did you wire in a relay too or is that not needed? Just curious to know if the wiring is suitable for doing it this way.

Thanks in advance mate
