Jealous mate!! Looks like a beaut spot and not to busy?

Is that your old camper next to you?

Yep, thats it. My brother inlaw purchased it off us and pretty much we do all camping together.
It was a quiet spot, we had people coming and going all the time but there is a heap of room so no close neighbours.

Got the bunk bed finished, bit rushed but wanted it done before next thursday as we're heading off to make a long(ger) weekend out of Australia Day weekend. Was originally going to do the tube work in stainless steel but we had an old set of pipeline bunks laying round so cut these up. There is a safety rail(clip on) drying ATM to stop kids rolling out and still have to get a matress made but overall happy with the result. You can still sit under the bunk comfortably(Im 6' and my head dont touch) just have to remember to keep your head down abit longer getting up. But atleast now we still have a couch to sit on when both kids are in bed(originally had a couch each). We remove the back rest from the bottom lounge to add some width at night too. Both beds are 650mm wide too.(looks narrower)

I also for the first time in the vans life, fitted the annexe. These were all brand new in their packets and I was worried about the length of them due to lifting the van but length was ok. Width was not. Once the side walls were zipped to the front walls, the side walls were 200mm short of the van so Ive had to get my uncle who is an upholsterer to make up some end extensions. And while I had it all set up i found the anti flap bars on the end of the awning were to short so im going to mods these for extra reach(they were brand new too and to expensive to replace).

What I think is wrong is that the awning is too long, about a foot. If it was shorter, the anti flap bars would fit, the side walls would fit and cross brace would fit bettet. Mmm, another mod.

Had another 5 nights in our van down the East Coast of Tassie, weather was ok. Bunk bed worked a treat, free'd up a heap of room when both girls in bed. Everything worked well and I came home with no new mods to do on my list.(thats not saying Ive finished modding her)

Ha, not likely. Ive never seen so many people camping where we were. There are 4 main camp grounds(bush) and all were chockers. There were probebly 500 vans, tents and campers there.
Fantastic spot though.

Quick mod. completed today. I manafactured a "under Truss" to add some strength into the draw bar. Since owning the van ive moved(and added one) the batteries to the front boot plus fitted a 4kg gas bottle holder to the draw bar so thought a bit of extra strength wouldnt go astray.
