Hi @Base23 do you have a part number or link to the bag kit you ordered? I have found one but says it comes with Boss bags not Firestone.
the Airbag man part number is
TA4TAJ (Jayco outback Jtech tandem air bag kit)
what part number do you have for the boss bags?

I will get the part number and web site tomorrow when I am near the computer, will have to check the history, all I can remember is the website was something along the lines of rallie air or close to that, I didn’t pay a great deal of attention when I read what bags were supplied.

Thanks I will call them tomorrow, the part number is not working on there web site.
There is no information about the kit on their web site. I just called them after seeing a video of the factory jayco silverline air bag system they designed.

Looks great mate. I anguished over getting the outside entertainment unit for that exact same reason . In the end figured a waste just for the control as I never use the idiot box outside but may still do something myself as it’s a natural spot for it.

Wonder what the delay ? I thought stuff was ex stock ! Better get my order in as plan on doing it next month to the new van or otherwise she won’t be going in the shed.

I have been told the delay was due to waiting on the shocks to come in from one of their suppliers. Shocks were suppose to arrive to them on Friday but I don't think they arrived.

Made a mount for the air suspension compressor, Its made from 2mm folded plate and will be secured to the chassis using 4 x M10 nutserts. I have positioned it under the van between the axles.

So after I checked out all the bits I started fitting the top bag mounts.
I had to drill a 25mm hole in the centre factory bump stop mount and then weld the Airbag man top plate to the factory spring seat.
(forgot to take photo 25mm hole but it is behind the hole in the plate.)

quick spray with cold galv, will paint black tomorrow night.
20180816_221326.jpg

then test fit of the bags to see how it looks

one side all done and complete. Not an easy job, cutting, grinding and welding all whilst laying on your back stuck under a van and then you need a tool or something and have to slide back out to get what you need.
Here are some install pics

will post some more details of install later.

Thanks ,
Tank and tank drain not fitted yet but tank drain will be a 12v solenoid fitted in a line from the base of the tank.
The compressor is mounted to a box type frame that I made and is mounted in the centre of the van between the rear wheels.
I mounted the relay and all the wiring to the compressor frame as well so I could install it as an assembly and just plug in to the other looms I had all ready installed.

Here are some pics of the compressor set up.

Starting to install air tank,
Made some new brackets to locate the tank up higher to the floor between the frame of the van.
Plus with the new brackets I will be able to bolt the tank to the frame instead of drilling through the floor of the van.

Cut old brackets from air tank,

Made new brackets bent from 40 x 3mm flat bar and welded to bits of old bracket

Tank installed and plumed up.
Its held in place with 4 x M8 bolts and nuts, The tank sits higher than the water tanks so it should not get hit by anything.
(Just have a manual tank drain installed at the moment)

Control panel is all working well and very easy to use, Pressure gauge is very easy to read and to control pressures
