Lol I don't care about colours as long there is peanuts in them :)!
True, a favourite here too. And healthier as they tick off two of the major food groups in one go.
BTW Adult daughter made pilgrimage to M&M World in London in January, Mmmmmm!

Looks a great combo, Tayla. All ready to get out and about in this wide brown land. Shame it wont quite fit in that garage. :)

I know!! I couldn't believe how close the roof is to the top of the roller door and then there is the A/C and solar in the way as well. Mike has dreams of a big shed behind the fence so hopefully that happens in the near future.

Love the pics. Pack in a small fan heater for Saturday. Going to be frosty a frosty night I think!
Good thinking Xpandafan, I just saw this on another thread and went looking for the little heater we have. It was funny packing clothes with my daughter, she has no concept of how cold it could be overnight!!
I'm hoping Mike has time to fit the bed end covers before we go to insulate us a bit.

:) Cute. My granddaughters live in Brisbane and literally don't have a clue either. Lucky Nana knows best and includes extra clothes in van. Remember to leave hatch/a bed end window slightly open for ventilation though to avoid any condensation. Vans are nicely insulated though and warm quickly.

Maybe get some thermals too if you haven't got them already.

My father called me today to say he is taking the van to Warburton for the weekend.
Apparently he believes it is going to be a sunny weekend.
i beg to differ.
it will be freezing up there too.

The kids have good sleeping bags and I am going to pack their blankets too just in case. It is me I'm worried about!! My stepdaughter has just taken my good sleeping bag on her Central Australia camp so I will be stuck with a doona :(

Found 2 mods that are now top priority before we go away again - curtains around the bunks and carpet on the floor!
Was it warm enough for you? We did the bunnings carpet tiles, they are good you can still sweep them and they are quieter too. The kids like the curtains too, makes it easier for the grownups to sit up watching tv.

Carpet definitely. Search out thread "What do you put on the floor" (My approach at post #41) On my third Jayco with light coloured carpet. It's always my first mod. Absolutely no regrets. Great heat insulation (summer & winter), sound insulation, and underfoot comfort. A search for "bunk curtains" will also give you so great ideas.

It wasn't too cold, we had the little fan heater on most of the time. It was just the cold through the floor that got to us and our feet!! Definitely need the curtains, the kids took a while to go to sleep even though they were tired, would have been much easier with curtains. We don't have a TV in our van but did manage to play a few games of Canasta once the kids were asleep.
