Great looking car @Smergen. I was looking at new ones and we also liked the old one we had a few years ago. My mate has an auto diesel, his tends to squat at the back a bit. I reckon some air bags would do the trick. Now that you've picked our your new combo you will have a great experience within the capabilities of your set up which was state of the art only a few years ago.

Thanks mate, as the dust settles, I reckon we've done OK. I'm sure there'll be gremlins along the way but they are the perils of buying secondhand.

I hear you on the airbags, and I'm now looking into them. Was wondering if someone like me could fit them, but I reckon I might leave it to the pro's.

@Smergen Just installed a set on the Prado and found it easier than anticipated..... Just make sure you don't kink one of the hoses as you have to go through the removal and re-installation processes to fix

Here's a Polyair video to give you an idea on how it's done.

Thanks @dagree, hmm... I reckon, whilst I follow the procedure, I just don't reckon I have the tools and time (and ability to lock the kids up somewhere) to get it done.

Will check out the prices from some of the locals dealers to get it done and go from there...

Know what you mean @Smergen ... Had to make sure none of the daughters were calling over with any Grandkids before doing it!!!!

To give you a ballpark figure for installation I was quoted $80 if done at the same time as a full suspension upgrade or $160 if fitting the airbags on their own.
