every option that i could, and extra stuff done on it from the factory. but no tv antenna, as i have sat dish to refit.
jayco had reserved build slots for the outdoor caravan show a few weeks ago, so i was lucky to have one of those, and only wait 8 weeks for the van to be built.
it has adjustable fans inside the unit, with filters. so the fan adjusts the speed depending on the temp in the box. which keeps the inside of the box full of fresh cool air from outside. the gas bottles are in the middle top hatch, and the other side is just storage or stuff.
not really sure, between 2000 and 2100kg. wall weight - no idea - but not worried about that one. car has self leveling. but the carry weight has been changed from 475 kg to 650 kg.
i am supplying the battery which weight 10 kg for 100 ah. also the solar panels which weight 4 kg for 250 watts. so big difference to all the other batteries and solar panel weights on the market. the battery is my own. i will be selling these. only 100 ah. but lion type. so you get 13.5 volts from 100% to 1% unlike a lead acid battery type which drops battery voltage constantly and you can only really use around 75% of the 100ah.
it is not the outback,as i put air bags on it to raise it by remote by another 8 inchs over standard.
for the moment i will be using a prado 150 kakado to tow it. but cannot use the full luggage weight until i change to the new jeep 7 seater v8 petrol next year. still keeping the prado thou. also running the drifter control panel and 3 seperate fusion audio systems.

i save 260kg in weight by not choosing outback version. really i do not see the advantage for outback. i took my 18-57-9 outback, bush tracks and never had a problem, and had more top clearance than other vans. also having adjustable height on the fly is a great advantage. then the towing fuel consumption is less and you dont have as much wind drag.
the ball weight of my last van varied from 230 to 390kg. jayco 18.57.9 did not make any difference to the way it towed. prado kakado is a heavy car in petrol, adding bullbar/ dual battery and bikes on the roof. so it towed great.
