Well done!@relgate nevermind re the wall mounting question - I just found a PDF manual online which answered my question
In the last van I had it velcrod to the side of the fridge cabinet
Ordered one off ebay as I don't need it urgently (don't get the van for a few weeks yet!)
So the van comes off the line 6th October!! Hopefully it doesn't take too long after that to get it up here to NQ
Nice one. Ours must be getting built in the same batch... Delivered on the 7th to the dealer which is only 30mins from the manufacturing plant!!! We are all ready to go. Car been set up with an Anderson plug to charge the battery (we also have the solar set up so we can hook in some portable solar panels if we set up in the shade) and wiring for ESC and fridge in 12 pin. Pick up booked in on the 15th! BRING IT ON

Airlie Beach could be a goer - will just depend on when we actually get the van, as we will probably do the Rollingstone thing for a night or two as soon as we get it, as it's only 45 mins up the road, so we can make sure it tows ok and everything works as it should etc.
We're a bit nervous about the size of this new van - it will be scary to tow at first, compared to the 17.56 lol

Companion fridge thermometer arrived today! I am very happy with the compact size, as for some reason I imagined it was going to be bigger - here is a pic next to a pen for scale

Hey no worries at all, and that unit looks pretty good actually! I would have preferred something that did the fridge and freezer, but I couldn't find anything..
Does it work well? And are those suction cups on the back of the units? How well do they stick on? (Sorry for all the questions lol)
I have only looked at them. They are currently sitting in the back of our ute on its way to Melbourne. Give me another 2 weeks and we will have our new van and I will be able to tell you all about them

So our van is being loaded today apparently, and should be in Townsville by the end of the week! Then after the dealer does their bit with checking etc, we should be able to collect towards the end of next week

Well, our wait is over. At 10am tomorrow we pick our new Expanda up!!! Can't wait to get it home and packed!!! We are planning on taking on a short trip this weekend - I hope all goes well!!!!
