Just a little note about an event that could turn me into a psycho killer.

A couple weeks ago we camped out at Nindigully (1/2 hour from St George QLD). We pulled up, set up camp a reasonable distance from others and sat down to relax.
A small while latter a grey nomad starts his generator (3:00pm), I internally think he's a P-rick and focus on my hops drink. Half hour latter he comes around the back of his van and pulls the plug (240Volt) out of his van and hangs it. I'm watching him as I contemplate the noise and think 'mmmm, I won't say anything cause the way this guy is parked he must be with the van in front (less than 1/2 a meter between his car and van in front, they may be sharing one generator. He plugs the lead back into his van an hour latter.

At 9:30PM the generator is still going. I'm in bed and deciding whether it's worth confronting the guy...Ignoring him just costs a bit of piece and quiet,,,,,,,,,confronting him could destroy the weekend (cause I'm a lover not a fighter).... I ignore him and go to bed..

The next day after this nomad packs up and leaves; the lady from the van in front of him talks to me and complains about his generator, him parking so close, his obnoxious demeanour, and that her husband had to ask him to turn the generator off (and got lip because of this request),.

My questions are:

a) Why the hell would this guy unplug his generator and leave it going?
b) Why do some people with generators think that common decency infringes on their rights?
c) Should I post photos of this guys van?
d) Should I have peed in his fuel tank?
peeing in fuel tank ok but I think in his water tanks would be better, its a shame natural selection hasn't weeded out a few peanuts by now

I saw that !!!! :boink: changing 25 to 24, when we go to SA next year you will have to park next to @chartrock and he'll play the pipes for you to enjoy.......
The pennys just dropped @Drover. Youve mentioned S.A. a few times. We're heading to S.A. on the way west early new year ..... now i realise your referring to The Flinders Ranges. Im pretty quick, hey. Unfortunately i think we'll miss that one. Bad timing for us, although things do change

Here's something I might try one day just need a copy of some audio :censored: ;) :)
We were talking about a similar situation with an older couple camped next to us a couple of years back and below is a brief run down of what old Noel (supposedly) did once when a group of youngen's setup close by and partied into the early hours.......

5:30am played a copy of some audio from a XXX video loud enough to be heard but at a reasonable level over and over for half an hour... Watched out the window until he saw movement next door then walked outside (after messing up his hair) sat down under the awning and lit up a cigarette with a grin on his face :)

By now a few more of the young ones had emerged looking like sh!#..... One of them calls out and says "Hope we didn't keep you awake last night with the music?". Noel replies "Nahh mate been at "It" all night and morning with the Mrs and the music drowned out our noise".

After they all stopped laughing Noel says...... "If the noise continues again tonight you'll be next!!!!!" They packed up and left camp by 10 :car:

Yeah but notice how exposed the cap is....Someone unscrupulous might put something in that tank if they were staying more than one night near him.......And I bet it would be the person in the van laughing their R's off when the generator cuts out early the following night....
