Ball weight.
Humm.
I'd have liked it to have been less, but.
Not too bad, I took this pic before I put air in the back end helpers. This is with a full 165 litre aux tank and beer fridge up back.

Thanks for the kind words folks.
I'm happy to have shared the mods as I gained a lot of ideas from this forum.
Next mod is to use it, and more gegees up front.

Whilst parked at Kenilworth Homestead, i had this friendly chap call in selling his gear.

I got this from him for $25 a pair. They are to wrap around the awning to make a clothes line. also can slide into the sail track for a tie down on the awing.

I also picked up my 2.0 Honda genny today from a bloke I know.
Fits better then I'd have hoped for.

This sadly means there is room left over...... Oh dear!

Me too.......the same old piece of line is up at the moment......it's been doing good service for many many years.

I keep thinking I'll do something better but then....it works.

I may have found myself looking for something to do this morning, whilst lounging about here at Rainbow Beach.
So I spliced fixed length telecome rope for the clothes line.

An action pic of the backward and tiny parking spot in Rainbow beach, in the front row. It is fun when you get the old bloke on the tractor...

Now our very shady spot in Boreen point, not a solar friendly place, 12 panel movements so far today, at 15:00 hrs.

Which meant I had to test the new toy I scored 2nd hand.

I hope to not use it too often, I hate the noise it made.

Dunno.
If you figure it out let me know.
I can't describe the pain it is. Plus blocking the ONE drive way when you uncouple and wait for Mr 80+++ to arrive with his tractor.
I think they put the slabs in wrong spot or something simple like that.

Every park I have ever been in says the draw bar has to face the road in case you have to remove the van from the site in a hurry like a fire etc? Wonder how they get around that?

In an escape situation, I'd be grabbing the tribe 1st, valuables 2nd then worry about cars caravans etc.
What a pathetic school of thought the van park industry has in this matter.
My thoughts are we ALL should have quick release gas cyl's including connections. Then leave it for pro's and get out the way.
