well got to Tassie, was a nervous drive in the rain and fog but we found a nice spot to put the deck out for a day or two

I will try and get some inside pics, it's hard with theses overcast days to get a clear pic. Diesel heater is ticking over nicely on half power keeping the van at 21deg inside. Ran for 20 hours, yesterday afternoon till we left the van this afternoon. Its back on now, has used about 2" out of the top of the 20l jerry can. I squeeze the 2 batteries up against each other under the slide out lounge and just managed to fit the unit under there as well.

well the fridge temperature display has turned out to be pretty good. As you can see the main display shows you the current temp as well as the max and the min. It has 4 magnets on the back as well as a picture hook type thing that also folds out so it can sit up on the bench. The remote units have a suction cap and a large clip, although I have them just sitting on the shelves. The waeco 215l fridge is unreal it is set on level 3 out of 5 and is holding around 3-4 in the fridge and -16-18 in the freezer. In saying that I am in Tassie so its not really the place you go to test fridges .

We have had these for a while now (the above ones) and found them to be great . Used them in our 110lt fridge which was out side the van and display was on the range hood.

its a hard life free camping. Freshly baked biscuits in the gas oven and a warm coffee made off the latest upgrade. Not the neatest install but will have to do until I can make up some longer battery lead's and hide it in the front boot when I get home.

took the seats out for a clean (due to a 3year olds eating habits) so got a better view of the diesel heater, and my next job of cleaning up the wiring. Also did the first load of washing, worked a treat of the inverter. Looks like it may be a worthy investment. The solar putting out more than the washing machine is taking, which is always a good thing
