Not yet Cruza and Dagree, but now the mods and playing around with it starts. First up a stone stomper, then a custom box on the drawbar for the gas cylinders, webber and generator, as well as another small box under the side for stuff like the ramps etc as the boot is not as big as I would have liked(the hot water system and pump take up about a third of it)

Thanks for the look @Red1 - we are hoping that ours lands in the next week or so at the dealers - interesting that you still have the washing machine in the bathroom, that option was not available to us, and their brochures for the 2015 models show it only available in the kitchen. Seems as though they have a few bitsa's, bit of 2015 and 2015 in some of the choices available.

We have picked the same decor option as you, so is good to see how it looks.
PF,
If you wanted the 3kg washer it had to go in the kitchen area but the older 2.5kg still fits in the bathroom. That's what we have ordered. Ours landed on the wharf in Fremantle today, so can't wait to get my hands on it!

Interesting Panda, we were told that it did not matter what size we wanted, we could not have it in the bathroom due to the mudguard, wheel arch changing on 2015 OB models and impacting on design, although our model has beds both ends.

So to keep the boss happy I have bought a small companion 2.5 kg twin tub on special at a supplier for $130, and on its test run on the wkd, I was pleasantly surprised by its quietness and lack of vibration and movement in operation, so may try and work out a way to mount it in the bathroom.

Just went and checked ours, it is a 3kg sphere top loader and fits fine next to the toilet
Cheers

Yup our van arrived at Caravanland today, so we popped down for a quick sneak peak! Looks bloody awesome! Definitely has a washing machine in the bathroom area. One thing we did notice missing was the usb charge points on the power points. They have said they are currently not available. Small problem though, nothing we can't live without.

We used the single tub Companion for years in the last van .... gloriously punching well above its weight. Handled the large beach towels on its ear. The Sphere in the new van is pretty good, but what comes out of it aint no cleaner than the Companion ..... and the Companion never flooded the van like that bloody Sphere did.

Another smallish revelation with the Sphere is it so captively buried in cabinet, a virtual complete dismantling of the bathroom would be required if and when anything goes wrong with it

Our Journey is in for warranty work at the moment but we are happy with it and the new J-tech suspension with ESC performs well. I even did the last trip up to Airlie Beach without my WDH but I will fit it for the next run just for a comparison, Warranty issues are just the usual stuff ups and minor problems.

Unable to pick ours up. To many issues/faults/missing items. Not a good start. 10 years of saving cash for our first van. Excitement fading

Next phone call there is a long list of them. lucky we didn't start driving. oh we'll at least it's finally here our first van. kids are driving us mad to go get it

Just been down to caravanland to sign off on some of our new van.
Got to see the Boston dark vinyl.
We have gone with this for our floor.
If it works here is a pic with the comparison between the mambo cream and boston.
Kind regards Will
