Other fridge trick is to freeze some bottles/the meat/a pasta dish etc and put that in there.
Good luck for the shakedown! Very exciting!!!

Gotta love the green and black colour combo... Really distinct and sharp looking I reckon.

Good luck with the shake down, we're still waiting for ours but I'm committed to at least towing it somewhere this weekend! :)

@Moore Family were you on the highway going over the Old Cleveland Road overpass about 11:45am today (friday) were you? I saw the van, then the car and reading on Wednesday night i new you were heading north.

Having not seen the above photo, i wondered when i saw the rig on the road as there is not many merc's towing expandas. I passed you, in our 200. Looks good on the road...

Yep that was us, on our first run to the Sunshine Coast. We are at noosaville CP.
It was a good easy drive, we stuck to 90 most of the way. I think everything passed us.
We were really happy with the way it sat behind the car.
Must get some expanda stickers for the back.

Hi All
A weekend away a close to Brisbane with kids in tow?
You can't go far wrong with forest glen big 4.
A organic supermarket within walking distance, large heated swimming pool with water slide and plenty of play parks.
Ask for sites R1 2 3 or 4.
Nice level HUGE grass sites.
DO NOT go for the drive through sites, they are small and very un level.
We got lucky with the weather and now my 3 1/2 yr boy doesn't want to leave... Home tomorrow

Hi @The Goodwins
We never even made it off the driveway. Wife, baby and toddler all got the H1N1 flu and then I did too.
We have all been sick as dogs and the weather has been worse....
We started to feel better today, just as the sun came out :)
Dicky beach will have to wait a few weeks ...

G'day Moore family , and welcome to forum.
We also have the 20.63-1 outback and love it . We have the 2013 model with the older type suspension. I assume yours has the newer type ( Jayco J Tech ) with the independent coil suspension. How do you find it? I have a mate who has same model as yours and he is finding that he cannot tow above 90-100km/hr without it starting to sway. He previously had a 18 foot expanda without any problems and is a little dissapointed. He is an experienced driver and drives B double trucks for a living, so he knows what he is talking about. Not that you would want to tow at over 100km/hr (IMO) but it is nice to know that if needed ( for overtaking for example) that you could do so safely.

I would be interested in you thoughts , or anybody else .
