A mate of mine did exactly that. Was very keen on the 20.63 Expanda, but ended up throwing a deposit down on the 22.68 Starcraft. Very impressive bunk van.Don't want to put a spanner in the works but I was out at Jayco yesterday and spoted the Jayco Starcraft 22.68-1.
Not much extra coing but alot more room bunk wise and bathroom wise.

Yep the 20.63-1 is a great van don't get me wrong.
But the 22.68-1 just adds a whole other dimension!
is putting the dirtbike on the drawbar going to stuff up your ball weight? the insurance company might look for a easy out.
Ahh. Good point. I would have to assume its a double like the 17.56. That's the down side of the 17.56 as a family van . The queen bed is down at the bunk end. Being a smidge over 6 foot, it would work better for me if the "parent" end bed was a queen.Hmmmm what to do. I'm getting confused. Can anyone confirm if the bed in the front of the 20.63 is a, queen or double.
It was the same with ours, I believe it was the 16's that had the bigger bed at the rear?in our 17.56 the bunk end is still only a double not queen (in fact a few centimeters narrower than the front)
Hmm OK. Must have been the 16 I was thinking of. I haven't got my 17 yet, and have to admit I didn't take really close look at this while at the show.It was the same with ours, I believe it was the 16's that had the bigger bed at the rear?
if you sleep closest to the inside of the van there is a overhang for your feetHmm OK. Must have been the 16 I was thinking of. I haven't got my 17 yet, and have to admit I didn't take really close look at this while at the show.
So on this, how the the taller members here go with the bed size in the 17?
I wouldn't believe too much of what u read in the Jayco brochures, bit of fiction there, they call it "typos"
Hmmmm what to do. I'm getting confused. Can anyone confirm if the bed in the front of the 20.63 is a, queen or double.

Hi mate, we have the 18-57-6 and front is queen so I assume the 20-63 would be the same. I'm 6'4" and as bigman said there's a bit more room on the internal side of bed, I've been meaning to get some foam cut to go in the spaces top and bottom of mattress, 1 for my feet and 1 so I don't loose my pillow!
Cheers.
just get 2 pillows...LOL... the hole is not that big to loose 2 pillows..The amount of times I lost my pillow in the night was ridiculous!!
