Hi @Mrjoel86 hadnt had a towbar on the prado prior, so it was a new purchase.
2500kg towing capacity.
Car at home so will have to wait until I get home.
Didnt come with a cover, but it might be because we have 2?
Anyone else got a different idea?

I have the existing factory tow bar which is crap , your lucky where when I upgrade I'm going to have a filthy hole above mine

The other advantage of this one was the number of attachment points, 2 each end plus the 4 in the middle.
Should spread the load nicely.
Bugger about the hole in the bumper

Van looks great Willobee - I've been waiting for someone to post photos of Boston Dark flooring as we have ordered the same. Looking fwd to seeing more of your pics when van is opened up to show the colours in the light. Congratulations! Enjoy the new van.

This one was a construction request rather than a mod but I still asked for it as it was different from standard.
I didnt like the 90 degree corner on the panel between the kitchen and dinette and asked for it to be radiused to give a surface which was less likely to catch my elbow in the middle of the night.
Was pleasantly surprised when it arrived with this mod which I didnt really count on habing been done.

Hey @willobee, congrats it is finally here.......

I have seen a few posts stating that the new model if it has an extended drawbar doesn't come with the gas bottle cover.....correct if I am wrong guys.

Look forward to the shakedown update

That would explain mine not having a cover over the gas bottles, ours has the extended drawbar.

But a cover would also probably prove a pain for resetting the gas fuses and checking bottle levels so I gues im not that disappointed

you can always put a nice toolbox on the front and put the bottles inside along with other bits and pieces
