Am really glad that. The dealer will have it for a week before delivery. They are going to run air con for 24 hours, fridge for 24 hours etc....taking the time to check over every nook and cranny to make sure it is in perfect order before hand over.
Great service

@Ren77 , I hope it delivered all great and no little annoyances seeing you waited so so long for it. Get them to double check the seal in the skylight hatch seems a few lately leaking.

@Ren77 so excited for you right now, have loved reading all the posts! Definitely get them to check the hatch seal! Goodluck and I'm looking forward to all the new photos :)

Will do guys, thanks for the heads up! Bring on next Monday! Happy Mothers Day to me lol

Check the knob that raises the vent in the shower alcove. Mine came undone during first long trip, bits went down the plug hole . Now attached with a spring washer and gaffer tape for extra security.

Check all the catches on pull out drawers and cupboard doors.... When closed pull on them and make sure they stay closed.
All ours appeared to close OK but after driving home from the dealer one of the lower drop down doors had opened.

Easy fix. Just had to put a small spacer on the catch but if found during handover can get them to do it.

OH and one thing to ask to get done before the day is ask them to get the detailers to go over it 2... 3... maybe 4 times.
Everything looked spic n span on the day but after a 40K trip home we found saw dust and shavings all inside a few of the cupboards.

Minor things, I know, but just something else to look at!

After our handover, Jayco person placed jockey in the boot and I assumed had closed and locked the door. About halfway home, wife saw plastic flapping in the rear view mirror. Stopped on a safe bit of main road, boot door had come open and jockey wheel gone, luckily it was the only thing gone. Re traced our steps back to the dealer, no jockey wheel, dealer was now closed. Took a week to get a replacement. Had to use a car jack and a stand to park van in storage.
Lesson: make sure everything is packed away AND secured before you leave with your new van.
