Christmas at home with family and the outlaws, also getting the tinny out into the local rivers with my son and do some serious fishing.
Off to Yamba on the 29th for 2 weeks staying at the Blue Dolphin caravan park. I have my Expanda Forum stickers on the front and rear of the van and will do some sticker spotting as there are heaps of expanda's in Yamba at that time.If anyone is at the park come and say g'day,I'm on a corner site near the Tunnel playground.

Seems to be mostly the BP and Caltex stations that are out of diesel?
Shell and United seem Ok. Anyone know what the reason for the shortage is? Only in Victoria!
Its a production issue at the Geelong Shell refinery, it afffects most outlets because over 50% of our Vic diesel comes from there.
lets see firstlt it was scheduled maintenace for 10 days then oops lets mix 1000litres of unleaded with diesel ( so i heard from a friend at the refinery) and they obviously knew they had a problem as they have 2 ships due to dock from singapore in the nexy day . The western highway on weekend ballarat ran out so did bacchus marsh, melton all 7 servos no diesel yday today only shell has it and none on great ocean road and limited supply in warrnambool on the weekend . also bendigo ran dry on the weekend. Not looking good for people going on hols early also 30% of south oz diesel produced by shell geelong
yeah i hear you too mf, all dry around my local area too deerpark, caroline springs, sydenham, cairnlea, taylors lakes. i filled up the other day and am driving gingerly to saver my diesel. will be filling up at the truck stops in laverton (diversion from work route),i think i will be. Pace.
No matter where we go at the moment, if we see them advertising a price for Diesel at a servo we are just topping up.

Staying home for Chrissy, doing a progressive Christmas with Friends that don't have their family up here also. We are going to Conway Beach the Weekend before Christmas last one in for the year!!
Going to inverloch for 10 days, they is really good down there.

We went there a couple months ago. Nice park, kids loved the pool. The park next to it looks great, looks like a Council Park right on the water (similar to Rosebud), but I think it may be managed by the Big 4.
You need to be very careful driving thru there, its a funny set up with a busy intersection right near the playgroung. Just go slow as there are heaps of kids around normally.

Heading up to our shack on the murray for a week or so with friends sittn back and chilling and planning our next adventure KAKADU OR BUST THE BACK WAY !!

heading to Robe Big 4 for a week on Boxing Day and planning on staying at Narracoorte Caves for a night on the way home.......then Cobram RACV park the following week
Triton,if it's hot consider staying at Naracoorte Big4.The swimming lake there is great for families and it's free.ps I'm a Naracoorte local.
Make sure you post a pic of the Triton zooming over one of those sand dunes. Love that place.
