Ballarat for Christmas, Deniliquin for New Years then towards the end of Jan '13' a week in Marlo and a week on Phillip Island. We can take our faithful dog with us to all places!

We are off to the big 4 North Star at Hastings point Xmas and New Years, we love it there and this will be our 3rd year, can't wait except it won't be in our expanda . we have to wait till late jan early feb, so we have hired one for Xmas.

Wangi Point on Lake Macquarie for a week, via Bathurst for a night or two. Then flip over to the other side of Newcastle up to Myall Lake for a few nights.

If the house isn't booked, down to Phillip Island for a few. BOD - when are you down there?

"Not Quite Free Camping" on the spit just across bridge from Barwon Heads (literally metres from the Barwon River and couple hundred metres from the surf beach). 6 weeks from 22 December. Only 11/2 hours from home so can slip back to Melbourne for appointments, etc., and Christmas dinner with family. We pay for location and pretty basic amenities, no power, but an unbeatable spot. This will be first Summer with the extra luxury of the Expanda - we had solar with FlamingoOB but not hot water on tap and own shower/toilet. Bonus will be a few days introducing our granddaughters from Brisbane to the delights of "camping" at the beach.

Thanks. Will have to see exactly how hot it gets but looking forward to it. I also hope the air conditioner is up to it.

Antmans Trip

Brisbane - Broken Hill - Clare Valley - Merna Mora Flinders Ranges - William Creek and Lake Eyre - Oodnadatta - Painted Desert - Coober Peedy - Uluru - Kings Canyon - Alice Springs and the Macdonald Ranges and then home. We haven't decided which way to come home yet but have about 10 days to do that. They are the main points but we have spots between where we will be staying.

Be just under 8000kms in total. Can't wait.

Going to be hot out there, however we have made a rule, if any one of us that are travelling together decides we can't cope with the heat, we turn towards the coast! Beauty of the Expanda. :)
