Hope it all gets sorted quick mate, that isn't much chopJust had the insurance Co builders come in to brace our dining room ceiling from caving in after having a violent hail storm hit yesterday , hail filled the cliploc roof water then entered under the tiles on another part of the roof , carpets a bit sloshy tooo
they are telling us up to a 2 week wait ... not happy jan !!!!!Hope it all gets sorted quick mate, that isn't much chop
YEP got dryers on from this morning , thanksWe had tarps on while during building work. Got back after Christmas break to find water came in one bedroom 3 weeks earlier....
Carpet still wet, but mouldy too cos it hadn't been dried out. Thankfully insurance didn't feel it was worth an assessor so we could do the clean up and repair velours and they reimbursed us within a few days.
BP - dry the carpet immediately, or at least get insurance company's permission to remove it now. Mould not good for respiratory.
Good luck
Who's got too much money then!!!Nice clear blue skies looking out the window of the Qantas Club in Perth at the moment
