I had some canvas bed end covers made up. Total cost was $180. No windows or zips. I decided to get 3 seperate pieces. Works well for me!

@Brad and @Zammm
Can either or both let me know ballpark costs for these from ADP.

PM if you wish.

Cheers,
Matty
Hey Matty4 They massively under quoted my job. When I collected the van the guy told me that he should have at least doubled what I paid. So based on that I would say around the $1800 mark, depending on how much details you want on them. Bearing in mind that mine has the removable corner gussets for better air flow and i have the full mesh and windows.

They sound a bit like mine. Clear windows that unzip and roll up with the privacy fabric built in. There is no way I would have paid $1800 though....

I didn't. I only paid $800 for them but the guy said they did their money on them and would not quote it at that rate again. He said it would be more like double and then some..... I felt bad that they under quoted but I also would not have got them made up for that price. So I guess I did alright with these.

I went to Alpine Canvas today and looked at what they do.
They do the privacy screens for Bayswater Jayco and they can also make them out of a poly fabric that is waterproof.

I only want them for when it is raining, so I'd remove them and use the privacy screens when dry, so I can't really justify ~$1100 for some.
The Alpine canvas ones would be $400 for both ends. Think this is the go. Just gotta convince her indoors...

One thing that gets lost on a lot of people when considering if they should get screens or not, is not just the waterproofing aspect but for me the darkness they provide in the morning & the afternoon nap is fantastic.

Ordered mine from Alpine Canvas last week and got the call yesterday that they're ready.
They will even come out to my place and fit them.

I only wanted them for when it rains as when it's not raining, we'll just use the privacy screens.
I'm going to have them fit around the privacy screens as well to allow for a little extra protection and insulation.
Also then I don't need to take the privacy screens on and off when changing over.

Photos next week when they're on.

We're going with the holiday annexe ones. Business is close to home and they can fit.
Bit more than I wanted to spend but what the wife wants the wife gets :moony:
They are getting fitted during the week so will have photos then.

Had my Alpine Canvas waterproof bed ends fitted today.
As I stated above, I only want them for when it rains, not as a permanent replacement for the privacy screens,
so they'll do the job nicely.

Hi Matty4, I think they look very smart. Do you know whether they claim to be 'water proof' or are they just 'shower proof'? Maybe it needs a test with a hose to find out (by me if I buy them, not you!!). Thanks

As promised here are the photos of the holiday annex bed ends we had fitted last week.
We even got away on the weekend just gone to test them out and it even rained Saturday night and no damp bed ends in so all good
