I see a lot of people are towing their 17.56-2ob with Prados.
I just checked the ATM on my 17.56-2OB, 2540kg. Doesn't the Prado have a 2500kg limit?

That's a pretty high ATM for a 17.56-2 OB isn't it. Ours is no where near that think it's around 1790kg or something near that. Prado tows it with ease, only notice it on the back when it's a long long hill. Sits on speed limit all the time.

From memory my 17.56-2OB was about 2350kg ATM. I think if you get simplicity suspension and a few other options it's normally up closer to the 2500kg.

1790 kg sounds more like your TARE weight, not your ATM. Depending on your loading (water, gas, extras, etc,) you could well be close to the legal limit.
My 18.57-7 on road has similar ATM to @Soaring 's which is a foot shorter but has the OB chassis, big wheels, etc. Check your compliance plate, and better still find a weigh-bridge when you're next on the road with a normal travelling load, so you have some valid documentation if challenged.
