Without towing the expanda and when it was stock, I was getting 10-11L/100kms.
After adding roofrack, bullbar, lift and awning was getting about 12.5 - 13.5L/100kms.
Towing after mods with full van and towing up to 110kph, overtaking ETC 18-22L/100kms.
BUT..... when you want to go.... you put your foot down and you go....
NB. I have a heavy right foot (medically certified) so you should be able to get better figures than me!!

Least you got a 200 Bigman, so far my 200 build consists of a winch and new upper control arms. But no 200! :apologetic:

They look awesome :)

Nah when you lift the cruisers they lose the Caster on the front. These arms put it back to pre lift specs.

So..... home come you have these bits but no 200? I have noticed your username floating around the Lcool forum..... I was putting off buying ours until the end of this year, it was the wife that wanted it more, her trick is, make me want it, then I work out a way to get it ASAP. it worked!

Hubble80,

We have the 2012 LC200 VX 4.5lt Twin Turbo Diesel with a 2012 17.56-2 OB - Compliance plate GVM of 2,467KG on the van.

All we have had fitted at the moment is a set of HR WDH 600lb - no air-bags or suspension kits (yet)! Planning on ARB bar & winch, lift and air-bags, but no rush as she tows beautifully.

First trip was 3,500km to Qld and back. The LC200 towed it like a dream and most of the time you would not know the van was there. Fuel was averaging about 18.5lt/100 but this has dropped over time as the engine has run in. Sitting at about 16lt/100km at present - just ticked over 20,000km.

We do drive at the speed limit on the highway/freeway @ 100/110, so I can't/won't complain about fuel consumption.

No regrets with the combination LC200 & 17.56-2 OB

Cheers,

Rohan

Cheers for the info mate. I am waiting until after holidays and I will be seriously shopping for a LC200. Not sure whether to go the GXL or the VX. The VX really appeals to me however not to sure whether I want leather seats as our kids are still in car seats as they are young (and spill stuff!)

Will definately be diesel though and white!

Depends what you want. As above leather is better withkids IMO. I haven't had it in the last two cars but it was more manageable when my kids were small.

If you want KDSS and parking sensors then a VX is definetly the way to go, (I also found the leather VX seats a better seat than the GXL cloth, but maybe thats me) Add to above to a GXL and you are at VX money. the Sahara is awesome but a huge jump again. This was what I found best prices, after pushing.

GX $75k
GXL $80k (no KDSS)
VX $89500k :)
Sahara $107k

Edit VX price typo.

Ha ha haven't seen a 200 thread yet were this site doesn't pop up. Yeah been around a while. The current 200's don't seem to have the oil consumption issues anymore. Read into this site and you will get an insight into the guy, he buys a car and then finds the seat uncomfortable then wants Toyota to change it for a upmarket seat yeah rigth! The dealer leaves the sump plug loose and it loses all the oil, not really a vehicle fault, it's happened to a few with Paj's on the paj forum.

After all this the guy has just bought another 200! But I note he is complaining about the parking sensors on the bullbar.

I for one don't think the 200 is some super vehicle never to have an issue, there certainly seems to be some issues with 200's, CVs, steering racks, front diffs to name a few. But then I don't think the cruisers have been as bullet proof for a while now. But they are a WOW vehicle still, and considering some models are 3-5 month wait tells you others think so too, helped by the fact there is bugger all competition. Hence the reason Nissan have released there new Patrol, to try and get some of the cruisers Petrol market.

hahahaha the lemon page was good for a cackle at least thought :)!

Yeah imagine what the site would have been like if he had bought a 3litre Patrol?

I rather oil Consumption than Piston consumption :p
