Hi all,

Finally got into the van and got some pics of the fridge drawer.

There was a factory fitted drawer there originally, so I had to take the panel to a mates factory (cabinet maker) and he opened up the penetration a bit to allow it to fit. The other end of the seat is the compressor for the AC unit so was pretty much wasted space.

I cut in a small computer extraction fan and hooked it up the cooling fan circuit to the drawer compressor and ran the cable to the battery via a fuse.

Just need to add a vent to allow air in for a bit more circulation around the compressor as it gets pretty warm on the hot days with the AC running as well, but keeps the drinks nice and cold.

I like the look of the drawer
Pity about the cost of them though. It would look great under my 150lt fridge.
Oh well looks like the Engels will stay in the car for now.
We did think of that noworries, but we couldn't put it there because of the wheel arch.
And as davemc noted, don't need to get out off the couch for a brew.....
Mine was a factory second and was nowhere near the cost they are asking. Found it be chance on their website while I was looking at getting a cover for our old fridge.

Drover that might just work, have 2 doors put in the side of the van, one for the BBQ and one for the fridge. But then I would need a bigger van too and that's not gunna happen.... Trying to get rid of the kids and downsize.:flypig:
