Nice shots Zero there was still a bit around on Monday too but I'd say it would be gone by now. Could you drive to the summit ? It was open Monday.

I'm surprised I didn't see you on the hwy as on Sunday we were at Upper Yarra Dam :car:

Well the weekend has come and gone again and what did everyone get upto?
I had a chance to get the motorbike out and do a local ride.

And it was very wet and muddy :bounce:

And today I went to the Ada Tree which is located in the Yarra Ranges State Park and is 300 years old and said to be th oldest tree in Australia. It currently stands at 75m but reached 90m until it snapped in a storm in the 1940's. The base is 15m and and is also amongst other big eucylpts in the area which has never been ravaged by fire. There is a 3.3km loop walk out to the tree and back through the tall timbers and rainforest.

The walk has boardwalks and bridges in sections to protect the undergrowth. The carpark area has undercover tables where we cooked up some lunch before going on the walk out to the tree.
The roads are very well sign posted.

We drove down to Sydney over the weekend without the van as our usual caravan park wants $50/night over the school holidays and we can sponge on a nephew for nothing.:bounce:

Footy Friday night, worked Saturday, went out Saturday night for dinner to celebrate a mates birthday, and a few drinks of coarse! Sleep in Sunday (no kids for a night) then cleaned our annexe flooring from June long weekend after spending an hour getting the gerni started. Then watched Sunday arvo footy with a few beers....can't complain!

I put my name down for the Simmo trip (about 6 months ago) but couldn't get the time off so withdrew.

Sold the patrol now, wish I was going though. Have fun BP!

Went for a drive in the New Tug, met up with Mr Moto, Mrs Moto and the littele Moto's.
Drove though some side tracks in the mountains looking for some camping spots.
Then some sight seeing in the Mountains, Mt York.

I spent the weekend down at Phillip Island and went go karting at the go kart track which is at the race track. Its a scaled down version of the real track, it was great fun.:laser:

Just saw this one Mick, made my wife crack up to be refered to as Mrs Moto and the kids being the little Motos:laugh:

This weekend I just started on a new home for my Expanda. Had 3 trees removed and need to build a little retaining wall and pour a slab (thats a few weeks away). A long way to go but will be glad to have a nice little spot for the expanda and will be 100 times easier to reverse into as well than my existing driveway.
