That sucks you could always reweld the cross bar further back and prime and gal paintmy cross bar is closer for some reason 10.5 cm from last bold to bar.. I have to take off like 4 or more gears to make it fit.
Got a couple of other options although not sure how legal a spacer is anymore I also rather not change the handbrake setup.
They are a nice piece of gear I heard no problems at all with them. Still upset I cannot get it to fit
thats another option I rather not play with the A frame.
if you know what I mean.. insurance wise.
I have seen a couple with the 50mm spacers but not sure of the legal side of that so I don't know what your options are I can't see the problem getting the 20mm x 20mm box cross bar properly welded if it was the main chassis box section I'd say no but anyway good luckthats another option I rather not play with the A frame.
Also put it on a 50mm spacer that get it above the crossbar
Someone else put theirs on a steel plate re drilled holes so moved it forward.
Both of these fuzzy if legal into not fuzzy
All of them a pain in one way or another..
Let me know how you go.. I think I go for a ARK offroad one as handbrake the same as ALKO.. McHitch same problem with handbrake
@Maximage Yes it is a V3 still does not fit cross bar 10.5cm from last bolt.. McHitch no good at all I have to use something like the ARK which has the normal handbrake like the ALKO.Have you got the V3 davemc? I didn't measure ours when I fitted it, so not sure what distance is normal, but I fitted a V2 by removing and welding in a new cross brace, to then find out a week later the V3 had just been released and was shorter, so fits without modification usually. Not happy!
That's true just when someone is following you for 10 minutes you think something is up but in the end a great gift. Hope you have a great Xmas too
