Finally doing my first mod
I'm making a devider curtain to block off the kids half of the van got the same material that is at the toilet so it will look 100% factory
I was 98% finish when the mother inlaws sewing machine broke so I'll have to hand sew it and will get to use it this weekend for 3 nights down the bellarine peninsula hope the weather improves.

And today to make things better go to BCF to look at the cover for the Waeco I asked the young kid there for the price and come back 5 minutes later and goes Um it's the last one so I think it's $19.95
Well I paid him straight away no questions and got the hell out of there very happy seeing they are on there website for $199

I remember years ago (windows 95 had just come out - that long ago)
I was in a news agent, and found a couple of different computer books marked at $0.99 instead of the $5.99 they were supposed to be

so I brought 6 different ones - put them in my car, came back, had another look - then told the guy running the news agency

he actually went off at me for pointing it out in front of other customers - as they would now grab them at that price, until he could change the price

never been back to that place ever again

When building our deck last year.
I bought Merbu decking from The Big Green Shed and the kid on the checkout charge me by the
Piece instead of the metre and they 2.8 metre lengths at something like $20 a metre .
So I loaded up the ute and got the hell outta there.
It was cheaper than half price!!.

Its got me beat how the Big Green Shed stays in business, that sort of thing happens all the time to me there, so it must be pretty common.

Shows how much profit they make normally !!

Not as much recently.

Now I know who's to blame.

:(

but I do have to say our local one has great customer service as I discovered a couple of weeks ago when I went to buy grass seed and ended up with a palette of turf on their tandem trailer. It was interesting that the weight on the trailer as measured by their forklift driver was 1.8 tonne, the trailer must have been around the 300 kg mark and I towed it home without a brake connection.

I really noticed the difference without the electric brakes.....and won't do that again. Didn't even think of the brakes until I was on my way so had a very careful drive home.

Another tick for the Big Green Shed.......
A few years ago when redecorating I bought 2 x 6 packs of Nuwood "Click & Stick" skirting boards wrapped in plastic. When scanned it picked up the "Each" price...... High tailed it out of there quick smart (They already have enough of my dollars to start collecting shares for me!)

Ended up with 2 lengths left over...... Returned them for a refund...... Total cost to me? $0.00 8-)
