Thats the one @bigman0510 , highly recommended. I think i've nailed the right pressures too, 2bar max for the espresso, 1.5bar for the steam (i think thats the same as the video). Any more ruins the flavor of the coffee. Don't leave home without it whether im camping, vanning or just 4wding, it always comes with me. Just don't expect a fast coffee.

Thanks for the nice feedback @cruza driver and @relgate , you can come back any time:tea:

I didn't ask about beans. Do you grind your own or buy pre ground? How coarse is the grind?

Nice spotting @Capt. Gadget , those Aldi units are very popular and affotdable.

For those who want fresh ground coffee over pods or pre ground coffee, I saw this unit in issue 8 of Pat Callinans 4x4 Adventures magazine, the Kyocera Ceramic Hand Grinder. Would compliment the Belman unit i have nicely.

My next purchase for my mobile espresso kit:bounce:

I have one of those. They work really well

So you guys reckon the Bellman Cx25 is the goods then do you? Just asking cause we're thinking about investing in one and we value the feedback we get from the forum members.

By the way Moto Moto, was that you on the F6 last Thursday heading south?

Thanks guys

Dave

Hi Dave

I got some great coffe out of mine but last trip it literally blew up! Pressure guage read normal but it was on the heat for a while so maybe the guage was faulty. Very scary, boiling hot water all over me and the van, but no shrapnel luckily. I wont get another one because of this risk, and funilly enough I was thinking about this scenario the day before! My next plan is to get a big invertor and run a normal espresso machine. Cost will be similar. ..

Wow I was thinking of getting one now not sure. I suppose they are a tiny boiler. Will now look at an inverter for the pod machine, but imagine this could give the battery a hiding, and you would not be able to use the milk frothier . Not sure.

Agreed. Tough decision! I keep meaning to talk to the shop where I got it. Maybe they have some comments. Maybe I am the only one to blow one up?!

Bugger, thanks for that Relgate, that would've been scary alright, and I was so looking forward to fresh brewed in the bush, Oh well back to the drawing board. On another note have you considered returning to the manufacturer for refund or something?

Thanks cruzer for that, was just wondering.
