OK.........Sunday afternoon and where are we........
All stone in and sand and cement between and around the pavers.....

Checking wall size and there will be a space for a set of stairs to get around the van and into the yard...

And now for the final push.......

No looking at the other side of the van.....I am going to have to pave and stone this area as well........bugger...........

Cover will go on once this bloody wind dies down......As for the shade sail......lets live with the cover for a while..........

So its still hot and the area is ready and the retainers are ready to go in......Photos are a bit boring so I will do some when the Pavers are in tomorrow and the first section of wall is up.....At this stage the van will test out the site this sunday........ @Peter Black are you still having picture issues.....

Final pic with the new Coast to Coast cover on........

Only have to finish the retainer and add the steps.......a weekends job........and of course now its done I cant live with the 10 year old paving on the left side as we look at the picture........new pavers and stone in there as well......LOL...on a trendy landscaping wanker note.....do we like the transition from 40mm river stones at the front to the blended 20mm river stone at the rear with planted agaves...........Just saying......Makes me feel like a big man.....Landscaping wise that is....

nice job.. ours is just going on some compacted rock to where the concrete starts.. we thought of extending it although a lot more $'s.

For those who done the shade sail what do they think? Was looking at them today.

@davemc look at doing it yourself I priced the steel and cover at $500 all you need to add to that is your sweat and some concrete...

So latest update......
New retainers are in and I decided to ring the lawn with the retainers for drainage as well..........

I am going to need SO MUCH turf underlay....sigh.......open beer....sigh...

And raise the lawn up a bit me thinks......turf currently at Redland bay $3 a roll.....Better value than seeding.....

Its all about the fall...............

The Step to put the cover on or wash the roof......or because I really didn't want to dig it out completely....and don't look I actually didn't line up my bolts this time.........Not happy with myself....little bit OCD with this sort of thing.....
