is the 12v on? maybe a problem sending it back down the coax?
yes direct connection will work :) I had the cable from the roof antenna straight to the TV at one stage :) ok more then once its busted three times now :hurt-41:
Considering how hard Jayco worked to get it wrong .... im pretty happy i can get it to do most of what i want

I had to dwarf that damn Alko stabliser leg brace .... I felt like i was winding down the legs from the site next door. Why the hell are (in my case "was") these things so bloody long

I cut ours down as well as you don't always have a lot of room to wind down the legs.
I just cut the weld of at the socket and then shortened the rod. Then re welded the socket back on the rod and then presto!
Obviously Jayco keep one winder for all because the campers (Swan's,Dove's, and on road Expanda's) need the longer handles to wind there legs up and down. I would have thought by now that they would have supplied shorter wind up handles for drop down jacks. Must be cheaper to stay with the one handle for all.

I use a ratchet and socket with an extension.........

whatever you do - dont use the arm for the jack - even IN the jack

it bends like spaghetti

Mine was that long I had to have the sites next to me empty so I could use it.................chopped the end off, shortened the thing and used the bit I chopped off for a couple of tent pegs.
Throw away the scissor jack it is dangerous..

Overcame the shortage of towel rails with suction stainless steel towel rails from Bunnings, mounted inside the shower on the upper stepped section

For our model Expanda with a seperate shower a 550mm and 650mm fit perfectly

The rail on the left has remained stuck on for 5 weeks thus far .... and it has towels and privies dangling from it most if the time

Great idea Crusty

I bought the same sort of towl holders from Target/Masters and put them on the otherside of the shower on the wooden walls and they kept on falling off onto the floor.
If you don't mind what brand were the ones you purchased fromBunnings@Crusty181?
I never though of actually putting them on the inside of the shower walls though.
They would probably stick better to the shower walls too.

Cheers
