And for sure need to move those stupid bed lights, but Jimmy was just reading your thoughts above you recon you'd hit your head on the standard lights if they are down that end?

Also is there any mod or fix for the stupid tea towel holder to stop that metal bar from falling off as soon as you touch it??

Yeah everything else was fine Dave. Was surprised how comfy the bed actually was. And not to rub it in mate, but .3 shower/toilet combo was great especially with kids was quick and easy to shower them at bed time. Big fridge was awesome, had to turn it down as stuff in the fridge was freezing up.

Just got back from our first trip so thought I'd come back here to let you guys know of the issues. Only minor ones really, so overall pretty happy it.
Oh and lost one of the inside pieces that the black awning knobs screw into, think I forgot to tighten them after putting the awning down. Made it a bit of a challenge to put the awning up again but survived ok. Apparently only $20 to get 2 replacements.

So that's about it. Hope it helps.
Yep, we did that on our first trip! Didn't tighten the knob before leaving to travel home.
Bought a pair of replacements, not easy to fit back, lucky I have a long little finger to hold the square nut in place inside the arm while screwing the knob back on.
Wife now has a checklist that includes, knobs tight, roof latched, hatch doors locked, gas off, fridge on DC etc.

yeah yeah yeah @halbster .3 be nice, funny I was over ruled and I offered to empty it.. Although only had I think 2 nights I had to take the kids somewhere... We got a ensuite site so during the day and evening no problems. Have a porta loo under wardrobe.. Now if the kids could aim we use it :)..
We also looked again at Mantra Ray at Leasurefest :) Keep ours for a while unless I see a bargain.

Oh yeah I lost one of my awning nuts after our second trip.. Still had the knob although you need to get both :(

Always see that little flap in the mirror and think "Will click it in position at the next stop"... Always forget!
Hot water switch? Yep done that but luckily remembered when we got home to turn it off before plugging the van back in.

Lamanex above the cooktop has come away.
The fancy black molding above the wheel arch has come away slightly.
The entrance door does not seem to close easily and requires some force (basically slamming). On one day we were using just the screen and my wife and child went inside not sure who closed the door...but the top catch went past the stopper on the door frame and they couldn't get the door open again. Lucky we all weren't in there!!! Couldn't open the door from the outside either so had to get a screw driver and remove the top stopper from the door frame.
Had a heavy storm just before we left and found water leaked in through the air vent above the tv. It puddled on the shelf at the bed end as the van was in the driveway and not level.
Couldn't get one of the roof catches on one day seemed the roof did not come down square and was more over to one side. Lifted the roof again and re-lowed again, not sure if this is normal or not.

Hi mate

Yeah our wheel arches look a bit flakey too. There a bloody big gap there for don't be rude to get up in.

Everybody looses an awning knob.

Doors always seem to need adjusting.

That vent behind the TV, used to always leak on the Expanda after I washed the van! So far so good on this one but I don't see the purpose of it? And it doesn't have the gas warning label the other vents do. Mine might get sikaflexed up ;-)

The problem with the Narva ones is they don't tilt enough, but I can see the other style being a pain when you sit back.

oh another thing does anyone have problems with the door lock.
The handle pops out although its still locked a lot of the time I need to lock and un lock again to get it to unlock.
Is this normal.. Or on the way out

I think I have had it happen with the Expanda. Be very very careful with the door locks. If you get that key outta sink on the Camec locks it's a total pain

Have the same issue randomly (Maybe 1 in 10 times?)..... Instead of locking/unlocking we unlock again and then it opens.

no good @halbster.... first couple of trips we found things.. I hope it stops :)
I want to move one the big ones down the other end it ends up behind the TV now.
How did everything else go?

We have a roll of paper towel in there and its been fine for us?
Our paper towel holder rod also kept on falling out. I replaced mine with a piece of dowel into which I screwed two large head screws. Now never falls out! Don't know what I did with the original metal rod....

Those 240v flaps used to have a spring in them and they would never flap open and also didn't flap during a windy night!!!!! I did complain to Jayco about them in one of our other vans and was told it was a cost saving measure as the ones without springs are cheaper gggrrrrr.

Position from factory of double bed lights when end is swapped . As mentioned they don't quite rotate enough to be effective reading lights IMO ?

Halbaster 2nd pic is for you mate to show where that drag the 12 v from. Not sure how you'd retrofit this?

So that 12v would come from the same run they have for your external point? I like the look of those although yes how well would they work you almost need to be under them.
I was thinking to remove the 12v closest to the stove and move it up that end, thought run the lead above, through or below the cupboards.
Want to get all the crap fixed before I start mods.
