We have decided this year to leave Wed' morning this year as we felt we missed the fun of the cup because we were packing to leave. Kids will still make school, just miss a couple hours.

I think we booked to go there last year to the Barwon Heads caravan park, but there was a big storm coming that way and it was meant to rain the whole week end, so we cancelled. Bit of a shame really. It looked like a nice place to stay.

the missus is a teacher and doesn't get the monday off.
They frown on the students not turning up on the Monday, but really frown on the teachers skipping it :)

Well, its decided. We are going to halls Gap, Grampians Gardens Caravan Park with some other friends, and it is dog friendly. $35.00 a day and children under 10 free. If any other expanda owners are going there as well, I would like to know.

Hi Peter, we are also heading to Halls Gap, but are staying at The Big 4 Parkgate Resort. Friends of our booked a cabin for Melb Cup a few months ago, and we decided to joing them. Rang Friday to book a site and got the very last site, non powered.

Tween Waters is nice. It's in a great location whereby you don't have to use your car to get into town and it has a nice beach behind it. Enjoy!!

Decided to go to the racv resort in inverloch went there on week end so much for the kids to do and a lovely park highly recommend it to any one

Well the cup weekend is almost here....
Off to Barwon Heads after work tonight.

Packing the van to head off to Halls Gap tomorrow morning. Taking Wednesday off too, but then on Thursday jump on a plane to China and Thailand for three weeks:(
