The entire length of the Murray is a gem and there's no shortage of freecamping along the length of the Murray, all absolute water frontage and most on wide open sandy beaches as this sect btw Yarrawonga and Ulupna indicates. Most of the well worn access tracks to those sites is grade 1 on the level of difficulty and would suit a 1979 Commodore station wagon towing a 35ft Franklin

Off season youll find plenty of locations all to youself with a healthy supply of fallen firewood not to far away, along with river towns not too far away

When its warm how many flys do you camp with ??????
That pic of the corner campground looks like a good spot to drive a navara into the river to be used as a spot to tie up a boat

Correct @Bluey, the direct result of the ditching of 2 stroke. Id guess it would effect the newer IRBs as well. My short motor also effects that because of the lower transom. 6 in your boat ?? ... i pay to watch that

I cant hijack my own thread !!!!!

I thought you were showing the newbies how a thread evolves from moaning about finally waking up that you needed a new vehicle and then getting a Mine Truck, to showing off that you have a boat mounted on top of said Mine truck in the traditional Sandman style of 4 x bolts to roof rack...it's all in the looks, the style................... well bolted down is an assumption as unlike @Bluey who throws pics of his catches and his rubber dinghy I can't recall any fishy shots from Crustycon ??? (emails/texts don't count in this tale of mockery either).......................

There you go @Bluey holding the fort for you while you haul in a big catch......

If this relentless wind doesnt easy, the roof is likely where the boat will stay. I fitted a line-release to the drone to take a land based bait or lure out a few 100mtrs behind the surf, and i cant use that either

I just spent the morning fishing, a couple of umdersize moses perch and a couple of undersize rock cod for the kids, put two crab pots in will check tomorrow even though i know they will be raided before i get out of bed. Found a way to stop grand son from being scared in the boat, get him to drive (now i'm scared lol) sorry to hijack your thread @Crusty181
