The factory tech guy said the pump shouldn't kick in on mains, but the dealer service guy said it does. If your does to, Ill assume that the service guy is right. He said the mains flows through the pump and non return values stop the mains from pumping into the tank, and the pumped tank water from spraying out the mains connector. Kind of make sense, in a weird only Jayco kind of way.
The dealer has offered to take a look at mine before xmas, so Ill post up the findings
