bigcol, that does cover EVERYTHING! I just quickly scrolled through so didn't look through all of the items - Does it include the kitchen sink? :biggrin-26:
It is great list and gives the perfect point to modify from for your own needs. But be careful, you also might find your packing things you also don't need.

too true there Bmhdg76
yeah, it is VERY open to what you think you need
I think its more of an expedition type check list - very remote

but in saying that, Just how many people carry spare hoses & fan belts these days?

cheers

Not a bad list to start with. Easier to knock of items you don't need than try to remember things.
Still a fan of the sticky dots on everything and remove them when you actually use an item.
At the end of big trip or 12 months REMOVE everything with a dot still on it.

Variety is the spice of life. Met the bloke who grows the Pepper Berries otherwise wouldn't have discovered Lark.
Heard once that G&T is supposed to prevent Malaria...so far it seems to be working!
I'm glad - my wife and I both got malaria on our honeymoon in 1977 - have been drinking gin since then to prevent a relapse!

If pride doesn't get in the way...a good Op Shop is a great place to pick up odds and ends for your van.
We love the one in Barwon Heads (Vic). Caravan size Tupperware, old fashioned styrofoam wine racks that can be used as intended or for other bottles, nice wine cooler, etc. Almost always find something. Bonus is that the ladies who volunteer there raise over $100k for their local community each year.

By the way Xpandafan - totally agree - growing up is optional!

Nice one. Malaria hangs about for years so don't ever get complacent.
New medical treatments are terrific but not as good as a G&T under the awning of your Expanda.

PS: I'm not a doctor (or even a good patient) and there's no evidence at all for my claims of gin's efficacy,
but it COULD be true. Or is it just the bit of quinine that went in the Tonic that helps?
