Is that on the same "panel" or the raised "ridge" next to the privacy screen studs @rodney ?Had the first lot come through from the factory and they are fitted same place as privacy screens
and I'm don't be rude! they're about 2" too small on the back one, and 4" on the front one. its stormy here at the moment and my $800 bed ends suck. Looking forward to ripping it up Jayco!
honestly, I don't know. BUT I assume they have a standard instruction on how/where to fit the sail track and 4 press studs per end. the ends were perfectly rolled up in little zip up bags and didn't look like they had been unrolled at all. there is no way they've ever fitted properly..
well! there's 24 pages here, and i'll be buggered if I'm going to read them all.. BUT! had jayco bed ends fitted on our 11 month old 17.56-2OB and we tried them out today.
they charged: $275 each end plus $250 fitting labour. so, $800 later, and I'm don't be rude! they're about 2" too small on the back one, and 4" on the front one. its stormy here at the moment and my $800 bed ends suck. Looking forward to ripping it up Jayco!
A cover for the cover ?First use of the Jayco bed end covers in Walpole last night and mostly all good. As others have found the ends near the hinge allowed water onto the canvas. Appreciate any thoughts on how to stop it. Thinking of some type of cover over the hinge to allow the water to run off to the outside of the cover.

I have always thought why not just cover the length of the hinge, if water doesn't touch the hinge it can't leak through.
If I had an expanda I would be running a length of keder track above the lid the full width of the van and then sewing a strip of vinyl to some keder rope to make a weather strip about 100mm wide and full width of van.A cover for the cover!
The reason I'd use the keder is for looks and ease of cleaning.
There is a guy on ebay selling a vinyl gutter that goes underneath the hinge, but I reckon it's complicating a simple problem.
