You blokes certainly enjoying your Grands, mine turns 10 at the end of the year and while I did sorta think of upgrading, had a good look and since it is still performing fantastic, could see no need as yet. My second Jeep more than happy.
Mind you the other week at Warialda at minus 2, it did not really like it, started good but grumbled for a bit, QLDer Jeep not used to it.

Same here @DRW , was thinking I haven't used mine except to pull some backpackers out a few years ago. It usually sits in it's bag with the other gear never seeing the light of day which is as it should be.
Just about the head down to the beach at rainbow........yahoo.

All this talk of dirt.....And mine got a polish!
A word of warning. Recently quoted a ridiculous $790 for my first annual service here in Brisbane. Two phone calls later and it goes in to another Jeep dealer for $475 tomorrow. Pays to be a member of jeepgarage where you can find lots of good information including what to expect to pay for a service.

My excuse is still good as to why I haven't got them, they don't make them for the Real Grand Cherokee's (WG - 99-05), I thought 785 was a lot of bikkies but the all singing, all dancing version at over a Grand...........:puke:

I guess if you were towing day in day out they would have their place but I'm with you guys I'll be sticking with the attachable mirrors.

Happy 1st birthday to my Jeep!
(It was conceived at the factory in June 2013 - but brought into the world officially when I first sat my butt in the driver's seat).

She's done 27,000km, it's had some minor clitches and poor dealer service, but I'm still very happy with it.

For those interested I bought a genuine Jeep recovery hook for the Laredo today to fit over Christmas. Cricks in Brisbane had two more in stock. Left hand side only. Part number AUSWK14HOOK. Will take some photos of it once fitted.
