After two days of digging and installing soak wells I got to the important task of mods.
Reduced the height of the spare wheel by 150mm and found the appropriate wheel cover to enhance the van :).

Fitted the bed end covers, put the sail track under the rubber seal like others have done, took a little longer but happy with the result. It is a bit of an effort to get the top press studs to attach so I cut a very small section of the front bed end sail track and it is easier. Will modify it a bit more and do the rear one tomorrow.

All ready for Walpole next break :)
I am half way with refitting my sail trac, I was a bit worried about 2 rivet heads rubbing having at mounted on the outside. Defiantly a neater job mounted under the rubber. Barney

Have completed a few more required mods. The second water tank went in as well as a Shurflow pump and filter connected to the mixer. Spent 4 nights at Sandy Cape Recreational area in January and the water system worked a treat. As I don't have a shower in the van I purchased a double shower tent and a Companion hot water cube. Ah a hot shower at the end of the day, heaven :) it took an extra 15mins to set up but worth it. Sort of wish I had a van with it inside but that's what you get when looking for bathroom tiles and buying a caravan instead. Extra 12v/usb points went in as there is always somebody wanting to charge phones, tablets, iPads, iPods iBloody everything and anything. Finally got around to running a switching wire from the inverter to a switch on the wall. I was getting sick of pulling the dinette apart to switch the inverter on and off. Found the bench tops were hot near the fridge so installed two fans as others have done with a Jaycar thermo switch and an isolation switch.

hey jandl, is your second water tank plumbed to the original so it draws from both? I have been thinking of putting in second tank but maybe just plumbing it for the outside shower thru the hot water system tho haven't looked yet to see if this is possible. I thought this would be a good idea as we would only fill it when free camping. Barney

The second tanks outlet goes into the cupboard along with the original tanks outlet to the tank selector switch. The outlet from the pump goes to the flick master. The hand pump still operates as original if I lose power for any reason. All of the water lines are pressurised when using the pump including the tap on the draw bar.
