6 days at Newnes (out near Lithgow, NSW).
Great spot by the river, bush camping but with a small amenities block! Dog friendly too. The dogs and kids love the shallow river.
Lots of wildlife - wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, birds.
No power for the coffee machine though.
Once again, just love the annex which is fully enclosed at night and fully open during the day!

Looks like fun we just went through Nambucca heads 30 Mins ago heading south staying with my niece tonight in Newcastle.
That annex does look good we had a look at a few at the Gold Coast might order one this weekend :)
How is the Land Rover and caravan combo going now? Any probs with more trucks?

Thanks for asking. Much better now. Although there was still one incident on the highway on the way home from Newnes, where we came out from under an overpass and the wind really buffetted the van and I felt uncomfortable.

We are getting ALKO ESC fitted in a few weeks.

Looks awesome. How did you go towing the van back out of the valley from Newnes?

The Landrover pulled the van up the hill no problem at all. It is a very hairy road though. Tony honked the horn on the really blind corners and I stayed very alert and craned my neck trying to look ahead around the corners. Luckily we didn't have to pass anything on the really narrow sections.

Had the ESC fitted to our 17.56.2 OB this morning and felt at ease towing it home just knowing it was there just in case!
Hoping it puts Mrs Dagree at ease as she is paranoid about every little bump and movement whilst towing.

Great pics... Would like to take the Grandkids somewhere like Newnes just for the wildlife.

As mentioned not really felt the van move only a couple of times a little, nothing scared us and first van towing. Not sure ESC or luck seen plenty of trucks. we went from melb up Newell to Gold Coast now at Gindagai on way back home Pacific/Hume
Are you towing in sport mode so you can manually selected gears for downhill or up if needed? I had the downhill run through Cunningham gap, it's Sarah's disco she did not know you could do manual shifting. Better then brakes now that was not fun :) I noticed van weight there.
Reading up some people use sport always while towing hrs hears better.

Have fun looked like. Great trip

Only have the 4 speed auto in ours and travel in third whilst towing but do change gears manually when required.
