17' Series Just ordered 17.56-1 OB today

i have a toolbox on my extended drawbar.
My main concearn once the toolbox went on was turning circle especially when I had bikes on the bike rack also.
The extended drawbar just gave me a bit more clearance.

Yeah I have thought about that. I'm hoping the extra height and angle of the bike rack will get me out of trouble there. I'll make up a timber ply box to the size of the metal box I'm looking at before I buy it and test out the turning circle, clearances etc.

Finally, the day we've been waiting for has been booked in. We're picking up our new van on the 1st July....just in time for the SA school holidays. Can't wait... .but need to stop procrastinating about which insurance company to use

We're thinking Melrose in the Flinders Ranges. Really nice there and its only around 3 hours drive from Adelaide, which should be perfect for our first trip

Enjoy, the firs setup is great. When everything they tell you on hand over actually makes sence. Flinders Ranges would be a nice cold one for the first time use.

Melrose is a particularly cold spot....but a great place for campfires!
