some goodies arrived today :) New TV and the solar Reg also have my cable entry socket for on the roof.....
Now do i mount the TV Via a bracket to the cupboard or just put it on top of it???
i dont want to drill holed in the side of it but that looks like the best place for it.

Mounting the TV depends on what surface you have available, I mounted my bracket off a cupboard wall after checking out how it was secured, I would never mount on an outer wall and would only use nut and bolts with appropriate support to fasten, actually would prefer to fasten the mount to a bench top as less chance of things going CLUNK. Mine is an ALDI 12v TV stays on the bracket and I just stick some styro pads under it for travel mode.
Interested in the cable entry socket though, any pics, I'm going to mount the aerial for my WiFi off my TV antennae wind up post and have been thinking about how to run the cable inside. Just got sick and tired of throwing it up on the roof or setting up a Yagi antennae.

Hey @Patto found the park to be a bit noisy..... But that might have been @bigcol and me ;)
It's a nice spot. Amenities are oldish but clean. Owners friendly. The sites have communal fire pits and allow fires during non fire ban times.
And they supply the wood :encouragement:

Did a drive by at Lane Pool... Apart from busy how would you recommend it as a summer destination? Looked like a good spot to me!
We stayed at the new caravan area at Nanga

i suspect will get busy. The new caravan spots are separate from one another a bit. From sept you'll be able to pre-book. Good thing is away from camping area there's
plenty of room for bushwalking, mtb, 4WD.

Well not much done today on the van just fixed up the water supply from the rear tank to the water pump so there is no longer a kink in the hose.
So i re sealed the bungs anode and filter but found out one seal is leaking so i will require a new washer!!!!!
but if that's the least of my worries so be it :)

and back to work tomorrow so nothing will get done till next week hopefully its solar panel install week.

I have just a small bit at the end to make sure I have a good seal but most is bare metal. Have always been going to check out how well the whole thing is earthed as that may explain why some anodes disolve quickly and others take their time.........................someone more familiar with the green stuff (electricity) may enlighten more.

If you have a multimeter, measure the resistance between the anode and the frame of the hws. Should be very close to zero. Mine is about 1 ohm but a bit of rust on it.
Pete

I have a multimeter but have no idea how to measure the resistance what setting do I put it on??
Then I will just check it rather then pulling it back out.

Put it on the lowest resistance setting if you have a few but a lot of meters only have one. If you have any problems, send me a picture of the meter. Make sure when you are taking a reading that you are not also touching the contact points of the meter leads or the anode and hws system otherwise you are measuring your body's resistance as well
