well last night was our first night in our new Expanda.

Got home safe started the up grades clean out.
First job clean out the water heater wow lots of crud in there but all clean now. anode looks good so wont need one of them for awhile.

noticed a few things hoses to upgrade underneath so the hoses are not kinked going to install a few elbows etc..

Now waiting for all my parts to argue solar etc

We just headed up the hill to Dwellingup caravan park in WA very nice place and lovely people.

How exciting! Which expanda did you get?

We got the 2007 expanda 16ft with shower and toilet, also has the Waeco 12v fridge which i wanted as I'm not a fan of the gas fridges setting up the solar in the next few weeks.

How was it for you guys we lost our power in the morning for some reason.

It was a good weekend and we were lucky as our power must have been on a different circuit to the one that blacked out but people next to us and further down had lost theirs.

Out with the old in with the retro fitted new one!!!
I use the internal parts from the old one made a new LED light strip fitted it to the new shell which i got off my mum and dad because the lights where knacked and hey presto it works!!!!!!!

Hi @dagree and @David Johnson how did you find Dwellingup Caravan Park? We stayed at Lane Poole a couple of weeks ago and was very cold, but haven't stayed at the Dwellinup Caravan Park yet. Does the sites have fire pits or allow fires there. I'm sure I could see smoke in one of your pics @David Johnson

Hey @Patto found the park to be a bit noisy..... But that might have been @bigcol and me
It's a nice spot. Amenities are oldish but clean. Owners friendly. The sites have communal fire pits and allow fires during non fire ban times.
And they supply the wood :encouragement:

Did a drive by at Lane Pool... Apart from busy how would you recommend it as a summer destination? Looked like a good spot to me!
