I think it is standard on the GTS @achjimmy , the doors remain locked and as soon as you take it out of park it stops unless the key is within 1 meter of the car and the start button is pushed. NSW bloody rules again hey?????

Well I had a good day yesterday played golf in the morning with my mate and said to him "you haven`t taken me for a spin in the gts yet" he said come around later in the day so I did. I jumped in the passenger seat and he backed it out of the garage and down the road a bit and gave it a little squirt he then pulled over and then said ok it`s your turn so I drove down to Buninyong and started up the mountain driving very civil when we got out of town he said these magic words " stick the f#@kin boot into it!" well we went from 7o kmh to lots very quickly !!! What a beast it was awesome, the combiation of 430kw and 6sp auto was raw power but smooth at the same time, and handle like a dream. It is so sure footed and the brakes are don't be rude hot too. I drove it for about 10mins and took it around to my brothers place to show him (holden petrol head as well he goes to Bathurst every second year) My mate took him for a spin as well and gave him a drive as well. Still smiling as I type this...

A mate of mine had his on display at the Sydney 500 this weekend just gone. Awesome bit of kit. He has already had the supercharger pulley changed, new injectors, bigger cam and a full custom tune. Now sitting at approx 560kW at the flywheel. His licence won't last long...

Very sad news. Another nail in the coffin of manufacturing in Australia. I spent 4 years engineering with Holden before changing teams 10 years ago but still have plenty of mates there.
It's more that just a company that's pulling out, Commodore (and kingswood before it) and Falcon are part of our national identity.
