Well after a long and painful few months, the wait is finally over!
Picked up the beast last night and am so pleased with it, really impressive (not at all biased)
thought id start a new thread as i finally actually own a Panda now.
Its a 17.56.1 outback with
-simplicity susp
-outside shower
-full oven
-annex with front awning
-outside table
-stereo with int/ext speakers
-tv/dvd
-larger fridge
-duel gas bottles & bayonet
-solar panel and battery pack
-duel water tanks
-drifter control panel
-wind up antenna
-roof aircon
-ext draw bar
-extra gpo and 12v points

Think that"l do me???
have already started pulling stuff apart to begin some great mods seen here on the Forum
hope nobody minds me stealing all your great ideas.
i have 4 weeks to prep the beast for our big half lap round oz!
Let the games begin!

Very nice Htr, sounds like a great set up for your big trip. Does the drifter monitor the solar as well as the Jayco setec?

Not quite sure,but believe so, it shows the current battery Voltage and battery level but dont yet know enough about how it all works sorry Burnsy
will have to get back to you on that one!

Heaps of Mods to do if i have time
-move gas bottles and put toolbox on drawbar (copy of Brad)
-mount spare tyre on rear bar
-fit out cupboards with shelves etc
-LEDs if i can work it out!
-rear camera
-Tv bracket
and see how we go for others

Sweet HTR

We have a 2012 with exact same specs, except solar and control panel - v jealous

Simplicity suspension lifts height, we're still getting used to the overall size

We are heading up the centre and across the Kimberley then down the west coast!
We have 4 months to do it which hopefully is enough
I wanted 6 and after a long and drawn out hard fought battle with the misses, I naturally gave in and said 4 was great!!!!!

Its called compromising with the Mrs mate. U put forward your thoughts. She then puts her thoghts forward. You both have healthy debate and you both come to a compromise that was her initial suggestion. See easy.

Still we re 6 weeks in to our 10 week trip and its felt like weve been away for ages. I'm envious of those that have been away for years at a time!! One day!

well its one week in, and thought id update on the mods underway
ally box for front ordered
gas bottle relocation underway (Brads idea)
spare wheel slight relocation in progress
robe fitted out with plastic insert storage drawers (solterb idea)
curtain track for bunk bed underway (solterb idea)
vent covers for all external vents being made (the old girl)
covers for seats being made (the old girl)
LED"s ordered
lots more also on the go
not enough hours in the week at the moment!
