So far...... 1880km.
3 nights en route - overnighting in Goondiwindi, Dubbo and Finley.
24 hours total travel time including a few side trips.
Brisbane to Mornington Penninsula (Vic).
14.9l/100km. - got to be happy with that given 2675kgATM.
(Great To be camped in my mums front yard!)
Next stop Buchan Caves in a few days. Not a bad sunset...and we missed the SEQ rain!

We spent the weekend with the Caravan Club we are members of at Eudunda Area School. Had a great weekend relaxing. Camp fires and a port every night.

Copping a beating down the road in Robe mate. I'm starting to think the water tanks are going to be needed as ballast more than anything...
More rain than wind... Bloody hell it was loud... Couldn't hear ourselves talk or the rooftop heater... Actually recorded the noise on the phone... Peered out the window and rivers were running underneath and past us... Still, woke up this morning and all is good. Smergling #3 revelled in the puddles...
Yeah Saturday at this stage... Although we were driving around today and commented on how much we were enjoying this break and should we just 'keep on going'...
I'll echo that @Bluey ... Have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in SA. It's a pretty special little nook of the country and we've loved our time. Plenty of pics, trip reports and reviews to do tomorrow and Sunday night when we get back home...

Still wonder if we go a bigger van or not, we used the dinette as a bed for the whole trip did not even take the table with us..

Loving our road trip to Melbourne and back. Buchan caves camp ground superb if you haven't been out that way. Up through the Snowies today as we turn north for the first time in over a week. Trip report to follow after we get back.
