Ive been anticipating the boat may land on the solar panel on the roof of the Troopy. Bonus, I can still get a poo ticket btw them. Great day, even snapping off the transducer unloading the boat couldnt wipe off the smile

That is scarily close, what about the odd bit of flexing ??????

I was told that this boat is similar to the old surfboard on the panel van trick...............

The boat is locked and loaded on the Troopy as of 15min ago, and I'm now ready to roll down the coast tomorrow for a week solo fish massacre. I presume you've heard of that old "those in glass houses ...... " thing.

The boat misses the frame of the solar panel by around 5mm as its sliding forward, but then moves further forward into its travel pozzie where it sits around 100mm above the panel. Like it was designed that way .... or so the Princess now thinks

kayaks at Beaufort caravan park :bolt:
Bring the kayak they said, it'll be sooper dooper fun they said. We'll be camped right on the water .....

Really .... what water ??????? Apparently, I should be drowning

Mr @Crusty181 what made you first look and then replace the shocks on your van ?
mine look clean with no sign of leakage but i would need to remove them to be sure
Mine have been leaking for a while, they looked like this. (The red one, not the $200ea yellow ones. ;) )

You could just crack the lower mount and you soon know if theyre cooked without needing to completely remove them. Have a good breaky, i think King Kong Bundy did my mounts up

The c/park im in only accepts folk that have a demostrated belief in a higher being, so owning a Troop Carrier i was of course welcomed with crasped hands, and lead to my site with a smoking censer

Driving my divine diety through the boom gate, i was held in particularly regard, and later in the day white smoke was seem coming from the communal firepit chimney.

I got Dobinson double wall. Ill find the part number if your looking at going that way
I cleaned the Pedders web retention straps, and used them on the Dobinsons with 8mm cable ties in place of metal rings. The Pathfinder has a GVM close enough to 3t, so close enough to 1.5t over the rear axle ... so a pretty damn close match for the 3t dual axle van.
