@dagree - "Don't go there Gurlfriend.............."
hahahahahah

@chartrock , nah mate, even if I took the roof rack off, its still to low (15mm would you believe) for me to get the Patrol in......
part of the deal when I brought the Bosses 100series was
- they had to lower it........ by an inch.... at their cost... or I wasn't going to buy it

first time a 4wder had to put lower suspension on..... but its ok.........

And it's more like...

Measure twice, pick up drill/saw... put down drill/saw, re-measure 3 times.
Pick up beer and sit back and have a think about what the hell you are about to do.

Have another beer and get some Dutch Courage... Check measurements twice again... Have another beer then pick up drill/saw .

Put that dangerous tool down and pick up the beer! Go to bed and start again in the morning :D 8-)

best laid plans of mice and men there @dagree
as you say, measure twice, mark out with tape, and a red texta (on the tape.............. DOH)
go away for a while (not JUST to have a drink), come back a little later, and double check your measurements....

if your happy, fire up that there grinder and away you go................

Yep ,I hear ya. Just put in the new kitchen bench tops earlier in the week (l'll update pics soon in other thread). Measure thrice cut once, all good went in like a surgical glove. Mrs Pace very happy. The double island bench is an operating table, though the kid want to put a net across it for ping pong. Pace.
