Oh dear... Sorry to hear about that. My brother was in the same boat up on one of the QLD gas mines. He now does FIFO from Melbourne to a WA mine.

Geez cracka, you are having a rough trot. Keep the chin up and keep forging ahead. I am a firm believer that anyone who wants to work will get a job so just go for it. Shame about the tug but again, I'm sure you will sort it out. Good luck for what's ahead.

What a pain about the car and you never know about the job, might be a blessing in disguise, don't hear many people commiserate about a past job so here's hoping that as this door closes a window will open. With all of your experience and knowledge you never know what new opportunity might appear. :encouragement:
Cheers Mrs. W

Gee @crackacoldie this offer has got me in the mood and my week hasn't been anything like yours. Friday night now mate, perhaps you should crack open a coldie, pardon the pun.

Pace.

Sorry to hear mate. Unfortunately there is a bit of that at the moment.
As @chartrock has said, if you want to work, you will get a job. One of my staff regularly says "PMA" (positive mental attitude)

Cheers

Hey, @crackacoldie sorry to hear mate and ready for a new chapter with a new job mate :thumb:

Did you find out why the breaker tripped?
The breaker had come free from the holder and shorted against the body, because there is a length of unprotected cable between the battery and the breaker it drew too mch current causing it to burn.

Had an auto sparky have a look last night, shouldn't be too bad of a repair
