Okay....but I won't hear him if I don't put batteries in my hearing aid.

He's a mean little devil....keeps wanting more than ten shillings for a couple of hours work. He mentioned something about twenty dollars but I've only got pounds and shillings!

I'm now officially 152 years of age....or heading that way.

Any passengers?

With your Projecta try turning the solar off when you have it running mine will work good as gold then chuck a spaz, throws error codes 04 or 06, have found a couple of quick flicks of the switch can reset it but over time I have found it must have a conflict with the solar charge mucking up it's thinking, solar off and it's all good.

Thanks oh @Drover sir.....I'll try that tomorrow....it certainly has good lungs.

Need to find how to turn the solar off....I assume that would be the DC to Dc ...must find the power switch on it.

Maybe I'll turn it all on again tonight....no solar input....and see. Sounds promising.

Maybe mine has as well.. Off to check it soon..I'd be surprised if it hasn't.

This one is a Projecta DC to DC with solar input......and buried under the seat.....contortionist practice.

Oh I thought it was a 240v charger you were talking about, in that case you better read the manual as it shouldn't have a conflict, you have probably turned the wakeup alarm on.

It is the 240 charger I was talking about but there's also a Projecta solar/ DC to DC charger linked to it.

I confirmed the charger works fine minus the solar...and contacted Projecta this morning. Great service, instant reply!

It's a sensor issue between the AC charger and the other one....probably when installed, or it could be a fuse or a loose connector.

I'll now check what I can ...to avoid having to hitch up, take it back and wait till 2020.

You were certainly correct oh@drover sir....so, thanks

thats better service than I got, rang no answer, email still waiting so sorted it myself............................I would assume that they are only connected via the battery terminals, would hate to think the 240 would somehow run thru the DC-DC charger.

I'm gradually eliminating by checking one thing at a time.

It's a temperature sensor which is inserted (ouch!) into the rear of the 240 charger and is wired in parallel to the battery. It seems that if the sensor circuit is broken the alarm goes off. The break could be a loose terminal, a blown fuse, or a dodgy battery connection. Can also be a cut wire I can't see, though the rest of the installation looks very good and tidy....a surprise.

It's not a fuse...checked that...then went out to lunch!

More later. Today was going to be photo day, but lunch won! If I know what the issue is likely to be, it can go on my list of things I want fixed before we go away.

Still stinking hot here....12v fans will be bought as I think they're now a necessity.

Could be they use a wire within the main wire which is the problem, a bloody pain to locate, if you have any other bits to go back to them then save it till then, you will probably find that like Big Mal the solar panel does it all and no need for the 240 unit at all...................no need for fans , camp in the right place, if it's hot why are you in van ??? Should out somewhere or in car going to somewhere with AC on.

Testing again tonight.....gawd, this is boring me stiff.

Pulled out the sensor, disconnected all the power to the van, undid all the lugs to the battery, followed each lead, reconnected and now we'll see if it shrieks at me again in the morning when the sun comes up and it picks up the higher temperature.

But I did speak with the dealer and suggested that they help me from afar....I suspect they don't want me there with a problem any more than I want to visit them with said problem...but it was very amicable.

Different from our 16-49-3 in:

Bed ends set up...no hockey stick but clips and bed is on a flat base.
Tunnel boot both ends...no awning arms to restrict hatches
Trifold table
External shower
Thetford 185 fridge freezer
Separate shower
Separate toilet
Sliding doors to rear bed area and bathrooom area
Pull out pantry
Standard 240 12v and coax to bed areas
Door with crimsafe and tempered glass
External kitchen
Innersprings...yet to be delivered. Standard mattress in photos.

Not necessarily better than Jayco but it suits us better
We really wanted white cabinetry but it was this or nothing.

That's it!

(For those who wanted more photos....I'll now refrain from the new van euphoria.....now back to normal)

And this last one because I liked it.

Looks like a great setup @Dobbie . Will have to check out inside one for ourselves one day.

Wonder if that pull out pantry thing can be bought separately? My wifey would loose her sh^t it if she saw that.
