Yes we brought from the plan then had to wait to melb show before they had one in the flesh.
I gather the Jayco website will be updated after melb show, wonder if they remove the 2013 pics they still have for touring Starcrafts

Interesting went down pagebros the other day they had a Silverline bunk model, I said a new 2015 model he said no they built a couple and decided not to continue.

@cruza driver said he saw a bunk model on the road and we thought it may be a new 2015 model

I saw one on display as I drove past last year. Dumb move not having bunk model Silverline's, all those customers will go out and buy New Ages, Crusaders etc if they don't want Starcrafts. Plenty of retiree's still want a nice van but have the grand kids with them.

I also thought the expanda sport looked good although they only made a few.
The Silverline was nice although pricey.

I still have a eye out on getting something else although Sarah happy to wait a few years. Originally we thought 17" was the limit in our backyard, although i moved the fence foward past our gas meter. So can fit maybe a 20" in there now. We get a actual gas reading ever few months :)
No van is perfect from our 17.58 I would want island bed, shower toilet and more bench space.
We have a lot of storage although not much bench space. I hate to use the cook top.
Sarah rather not have toilet shower , although I do runs with kids at 3am ;)

Hi All, this is my first post. I have been reading for a while and have just ordered a 2015 17.56-2 OB with a few extras like Drifter LED Display, fusion sound, canvas bed ends, TV,Antenna, fold down table etc.
I was not told of the change of floor plan as I see posted on page 2. Or external decal or moulding changes. None of this will be a problem but would have been nice to have been told by a sales person who should have known.
I have a couple other questions though.
Any reports on how the JTec susp performs on relatively rough roads and what is the point of the extended draw bar which I was not offered or even told was an option.
I look forward to hearing back.

Welcome Clarry, you can still change your order if you want to add a few things. Normally have a bit of time. Extended draw bar is good for adding a tool box up front.

Thanks Macca.
If some of the earlier posts are correct and the spare has moved and gas placement changed I may not require the extended bar.
Looking forward to getting our new expanda. ETA is apparently mid May.

Hi @Clarry76 , not sure by how rough you mean rough, but we were on the whyalla-kimba road which turned out to be gravel. Some parts were good, but a lot was corrugated. Other parts were quite bad and we were only doing 20km/hr. We were pulling a 21-64 OB. Nothing moved , no plates broken (we have correlle ones) and no eggs broken. To me it was good. (Hubby was surprised at how nothing moved).

Hi Clarry76,
We were given a list of all of the options with prices that were available, which included things like the extended draw bar.
Our salesman also didn't really know what the new vans were going to look like either, as he said until they actually get one or Jayco finishes one off and takes some pics to update their website the dealers are a bit in the dark. You can go to the dealer and they can show you on their computer exactly what stage your van is at, what options you have and also if you are still able to change anything. Have you signed off on the plans as yet?

Have signed sales contract and additions (extras) contract. Never discussed a plan or plans, as we are 700+ km away from our dealership I done everything over the phone and via the net. As I see here now on the forum the website is showing images and floor plans of the 2013 models.
As our van is ready in May I assume and hope that we get all the new changes and inclusions.

extended draw bar is good if you have a Prado or Pajero with the side opening door. You can open it all the way. Gives you a bit more room if you have a stone guard as well as the above mentioned tool box.
