Perhaps you could consider buying from a Victorian Jayco dealer and come over and tow it back yourself.

hi alan sorry didn' mean to stir you up, mines a non a slide out. on your experience with the dealer that's a shame. This is my 4th from the guys in Geelong and they've been fantastic, on occasions they've had to check with the factory on what can be done. I'll post pictures after I pick it up over the weekend.
Hey alan frostnah it's all good JaycoQ. Should be used to the standard of service we get in the West by now.
If your not getting the best service @ Caravanland ask for Jim.
As for changes if you speak to Dan Jackobs at Jayco over east (Head Office) he is one of the planners and designers.
I too have had the issue were the salesman doesn't know what you can and cant change and the easy answer for them is just to say no to all changes.
After the WA caravan show I worked out that the dealers always go to Dan for answers on what changes are aloud to be made and I have spoken to Dan and nothing was to hard and infact he was really helpful in regards to making the changes for my 20.63-1ob on order.
